Told You
Today: +$113
Hours: 1
To Date: +$18,224
$400 nl win rate (to date): $115/hr
Told you I would start updating everyday again. I know it's only been one day but I'm back in business. Anyways I decided to only play an hour today and then get back to normal again tomorrow. I haven't really had a day off in a while and thought it would be good for me to not play anymore after my first session today. The session went ok, nothing really happened but I probably could have made another $100. I'm happy with my play though. I'm feeling around a +$1,800 day tomorrow, any takers on the over/under???? Oh wait, no one reads this except for my girlfriend!

Adam,
Congrats on your good results so far! What site do you play on? It looks like we play the same limits.

I just stunbled on your blog today. But looks like a good read, and I will throw a link on my blog. Check mine out if you have time...

verneer,
Thanks for the congrats. I play on absolute poker and Ultimate Bet, but I'm probably gonna try and start building a bankroll on either Full Tilt or Pokerstars pretty soon here. Ya I play $400 nl and we have played a little bit together on UB, I'm not sure yet if I'm going to release my poker name's on this blog. I have to think about it first and figure out if I want to do that.
Papabigballer,
Thanks for the comment. I will definitely check yours out soon, I really like a lot of poker blogs out there right now. Its good entertainement in my opinion.
Im kinda curious how your sessions are setup and why. It seems like you play 3- 1 hour sessions from what i read. What you think the advantage of doing that is rather than play 3-4 hours at once?
anonymous,
I don't have any set amount of hours or sessions I play for the day. I would say I average around 3 hours a day. But I usually try and keep the sessions under 2 hours at a time, however sometimes when I'm feeling good and the games are really good I'll occasionally play a 3-5 hours session or something like that. But for the most part my sessions are usually like 45 minutes to 2 hours long. The reason I try to keep them on the shorter side is becuase I average about 5 tables at once and sometimes 6 or 7, and it can be very mentally exhausting having to make so many decisions in such a short amount of time. So for me I feel much sharper when I play 1-2 hour sessions a few times throughout the day, compared to playing one long 4 hour session. So I try to focus on playing my best and not making any mistakes for an hour or so and then come back a little while later and do it again. I have found from experience and through trial and error this works best for me. But I definitely do play some longer sessions when the games are really good and I am feeling on top of my game.
